SUMMER, 2017 SHIPPING UPDATE: Please be advised that due to staff vacation time, our SUMMER SHIPPING of your order can be up to 5-7 business days and we thank you for your understanding.
Every purchase from Rug Pad Corner comes with FREE shipping everyday within the contiguous United States and there is no sales tax, except for the state of Connecticut.
Canada: Shipments to Canada will incur a shipping charge and this charge will display upon checkout. Please note that you may also be responsible for customs and/or duties, depending on size of order. We really cannot predict what that will be and if you have received anything from outside of the country before, then you are most likely accustomed to the charge.
Hawaii & Alaska: You may either place your order and we will contact you with the shipping cost, or you may first call (888)400-7098 and we will calculate the shipping based on your order details and address.
How Orders Ship:
Your rug pad order will be shipped via UPS ground. Certain DURA-GRIP® furniture gripper orders can ship via USPS Priority Mail. Every order is shipped direct from our own warehouse. Orders of rug pads wider than 5 feet will ship folded and then rolled. Ground shipping takes anywhere from 1 day to 5 days to deliver, depending on where you are within the contiguous United States. NOTE: We ship with “No Signature Required”, so the receiver is responsible for the delivery once delivery is made.
When Orders Ship:
We ship orders within 2-3 business days, depending on the amount of orders open on any given day. If you require express services, we do offer a Same Day Cutting and Shipping service and you may contact us for the details to (888)400-7098.
Delivery to Residences:
Home delivery is Monday through Friday. We do not require a signature, unless instructed otherwise. If you are not home to accept the delivery, the courier will use his/her judgement and place your order in a safe place.
NOTE: We do not ship our rug pads to P.O. Boxes. Only certain DURA-GRIP orders can be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
Delivery to Businesses:
You may have us ship to a business. Business deliveries occur Monday through Friday.
NOTE: If you decide you do not need your order after we have shipped and before you received delivery, you should not cancel the delivery. You must accept delivery and then request a return through our returns procedure. If you cancel or refuse the delivery of your order, when we receive your refusal, we will deduct the Shipping Carrier’s fee of $20 from your final refund.
Our normal handling time for orders is 2-3 business days. We offer expedited handling where we can ship your order within 24 hours and most often same day, saving 2-3 days of processing time. There is a flat fee of $45 per order for this service and you can elect to choose it at the last step of checkout. NOTE: While this service assures your order ships within 24 hours, there is still the shipping transit time to consider once we ship the order – Transit time is between 1 – 6 business days, depending on delivery address.
We process and ship orders as quickly as possible yet in the event you prefer express shipping, please call us at 888-400-7098 and we would be happy to offer our discounted rates for overnight, 2 day or 3 day express. Please note that your order may already be within a one or two day delivery zone of us and we will advise you of this when you call.
NOTE: As stated within the site, your rug pad will arrive slightly smaller (approximately one to one & one half inches less on all sides) than your rug size in order to fit properly. If you entered a custom rug size, then your rug pad will be cut accordingly. If you do not want us to cut the rug pad at all, simply state “DO NOT TRIM” in the customer notes section during checkout.
EXCEPTION TO FREE SHIPPING: We are sometimes supplied the incorrect shipping address. A common reason for this is with PayPal orders in which the customer has moved and failed to update their address with PayPal. If such an order is already in transit, with notice, we are happy to change the delivery address, yet UPS charges a fee for this and the receiver is responsible for this fee, currently $18.
While we are sticklers to assure your order is accurate and complete, human error can sometimes cause a mistake in an order. We ask that you check your order for accuracy when you receive it and report any discrepancies to us by telephone or email. Please be advised that you have 30 days from receipt of order to report, otherwise we are not responsible for any discrepancies.
While we do all we can to expedite the processing of your order, once we hand it to the carrier, we cannot control any elements that may possibly delay delivery – such as weather or vehicle issues – and cannot be held liable for any such delays. While rare, such delays can occur.
We ship all orders as promised and we expect them to be accepted. In the event that you desire to return your order for whatever reason, we do not advise you to refuse the delivery. *Refusals incur a separate Shipping Surcharge, which you will be responsible for. It is best to accept the delivery and then contact us for your return.
Ground transit times after your order leaves our CT warehouse:
Deliveries along the East Coast: Time in transit is 1 – 3 business days
Deliveries to the Mid-West: Time in transit is 2 – 4 business days
Deliveries to the West Coast: Time in transit is 4 – 5 business days
*While we stress fast shipping once we receive your order, there can be times in which this is compromised – We can encounter defective material, inclement weather, etc, so based on the unforeseen, we reserve the right to ship your order later than normal so that we are able to ship material to our standards(if we are waiting on replacement inventory) or when transportation is not affected (such as in a winter storm – our incoming deliveries can be delayed, as well as FedEx delivery services).
