We are a family with over 20 years experience in the area rug, rug pad and hardwood flooring business and we have seen our share of "damage" to floors and rugs from faulty rug pads. We take pride in offering the rug pads that we are sure will withstand the test of time and of the elements they can be exposed to while being completely safe to your floors and rugs.
When shopping Rug Pad Corner, you won't find some things that other stores have. You won't find pre-cut and pre-packaged rug pads with fold marks sitting on a shelf until they are purchased. These pads have a problem lying flat and cause premature wear to your rugs as well as trip hazards. Our orders, custom size or standard size, are cut by us right from the rolls upon each order. You also won't find rug pads below our quality standards. We know there are very inexpensive pads available yet when we place a pad on your floors, we want it to perform they way it is meant to and to last at least 15 years with no risk of damage to your rugs or your floors. We have researched and tested all types of pads and only offer the ones which we have full confidence in. Finally, you won't find anyone inexperienced in the field of area rugs and rug pads. Our Warehouse
Our warehouse is based in Connecticut and this is where it all happens. Rolls and rolls of the quality rug padding are stocked and ready to be cut for every order. We never stock any of our rug pads in a folded manner so that we can avoid any creasing and stubborn fold marks. Here is where you will find your order being cut, inspected, wrapped and shipped in as timely a manner as possible. Sure, we know we can save lots of time by drop shipping your order from some strange warehouse where the rug pads are in packages but this goes against our belief of offering the best quality rug pads in the best form possible. This allows us to have full control over shipping and in most cases, shipping is within 24 - 48 hours. We have full control of every order, from cutting to the exact inch to packing to shipping.
Your order consists of the following steps:
1. We receive, cut and inspect your order
2. We securely wrap your order and add information on the type of pad purchased
3. We enter your shipping information and issue a shipping label
4. We email you notifying you that your order is shipping along with the tracking number
Our Pricing
We price our rug pads at the best possible prices online or in stores for the quality of product we offer. We are able to offer such pricing based on our buying power as well as our relationships with FEDEX and UPS. Your order comes with free shipping everyday, whether it be an $18 order or a $2000 order! Our goal is to sell more pads to more people and hence we work on a very low margin and high volume. There is never an extra charge for custom cut pads.
You may find lower quality pads at lower prices elsewhere and we will not offer pads below our standards. Even our thinnest pad, the Super Hold, is still far and above more comfortable and better performing than many thinner non slip rug pads on the market. We care about your rugs and floors just as much as about gaining a customer so we will only offer the quality we're able to put in our own homes for many years without concern.
