The Surface
Needle punched recycled felt jute is densely compressed with a distinct texture to grab and hold your rug, minimizing any movement of the rug on the rug pad. The density helps in protecting the back of your rug from premature wear as well as resisting furniture penetrating through to the floor and causing possible indentations.
The Backing
A solid layer of real rubber is heat pressed to the felt jute to create stability and longevity. Unlike others, our rubber is not glued on. Because ours is a solid rubber permanently attached to the felt jute, it will not break down and harm floors like rug pads with a sprayed on latex or "rubber like" material. The rubber consists of a unique pattern which allows more rubber to grip to more floor, hence providing the ultimate in a non slip rug pad.

Ultra Premium performs as well on carpet as it does on hard floor surfaces. Use it with the rubber side up on carpet and keep your rugs flat, wrinkle free and prevent premature wear (for rugs on carpet with furniture on them use No-Muv rug pad instead). Use it rubber side down on hard floors and Ultra Premium will keep your rugs still, prolong their life and prevent scratches and indentations to your floors.

We needed a replacement pad for a rug I stand on for working, so needed both padding and non-slip. Excellent product. Even with young pets running over and around it, the rug doesn't move. And I get cushioning for my feet and legs. The customer service was wonderful. I'd placed my order online on Sunday, then realized I needed a custom size. I left phone message and email message, and I got two calls back from two people within an hour letting me know they'd received my messages and they'd be glad to custom cut no charge. I've never seen such terrific service. Keep it up, folks!!!

The ultra premium felt and rubber pads are simply amazing. We have been tripping over 2 lovely Moroccan rugs in our kitchen for years. We ordered custom cut pads and they are a perfect fit. The rugs are now immovable. I couldn't be happier!!!

I bought an area rug on an impulse buy. I always see area rugs laid over wall to wall carpet, and figured I wasn't going to have a problem. Well, I was wrong. It wouldn't lay flat, the coffee table that I put on top of it made it rumple more...ugh. So, I researched my problem, and found Rug Pad Corner. My rug was a odd size, 5'3" x 7'9". I left instructions with my internet order, and it was cut exactly right. Unfortunately, I made a typo on my order, and the pad is 3 inchs too short, not their fault. Even so, the pad makes a huge difference. I just order another one for by my front door.
